Built between 1900 and 1905, Casa Burés owes its name to its first owner, Francesc Burés, who had it built to house the headquarters of his textile company on the ground floor, his private home of more than 1,000 m2 on the first floor , and twelve rental apartments of 300 m2 each on the upper floors, which had one of the first elevators in Barcelona.
