Elegant refurbishment next to Paseo de Gracia

154 m² · 4 rooms · 3 bathrooms

This elegant property in the heart of Eixample has undergone a recent transformation by the renowned interior design firm VilaBlanch. Unique elements of the original property were restored, including the hydraulic pavements, original carpentry, and ceilings. Spaciousness is a key feature of this home, as walls were removed to create an expansive transformation of the kitchen-dining room area, living room, and master bedroom.

The kitchen, from the German firm Bulthaup, features the highest quality electrical appliances and finishes, including a gas stove, refrigerator, wine cellar, and a state-of-the-art oven. The living room is complemented by an interior patio with an abundance of greenery and natural light.

The 152 sqm property offers four rooms, one of which is currently used as an office and another as a large dressing room. The master suite, which stands out for its incredibly restored ceiling, has a spacious full bathroom. The other bedroom, also a double suite, features a spacious bathroom as well. There is air conditioning and heating throughout the property. In addition to a courtesy bathroom, where the water area is also located, there is a washing machine and dryer.

It is a unique estate, blending modern renovations within a classic building. Located in a well-established area with many cafes, restaurants, and shops in close proximity, the central location is nothing short of ideal. Concierge service is included with the property, and there is parking availability in the area.

Please note that the price does not include furniture.

The Eixample or Ensanche is the name given to this neighborhood that was built as an extension of the old town of Barcelona. It begins in Plaza Cataluña and reaches the Diagonal and then expands to both sides of Paseo de Gracia. The Eixample is built on a grid system, like many American cities including Manhattan, so it’s easy to find one’s way around and navigate its streets. It is knows for its modernist architectural jewels including La Pedrera, Casa Batlló or Casa de Lleó i Morera, its high-end fashion stores, art galleries, restaurants, and for being one of the most sought after neighborhoods to live in. Like any district in the center of a big city, it is a shopping hub, full of people-watching, hotels, restaurants and cultural activities. However, the Example has something that is extremely rare for a city of this size: it is full of peaceful and quiet areas including semi-pedestrian streets, smalls passages where one finds rows of English-style houses, big patios inside its city blocks, some converted into tranquil public parks. It’s a lively district, yet it’s incredibly residential and safe. It offers the most complete public transportation options in the city including buses, trains and the subway. In addition, it is connected to the rondas, and highways by the Diagonal, and the streets Aragón and Mallorca, so getting to the airport is a cinch
